New School Will Be Named Margaret B. Pollard Middle School

During its November 9th meeting, the Chatham County Board of Education voted to name the district's new middle school slated to open in the fall of 2010 Margaret B. Pollard Middle School. Pollard was a member and one-time chair of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners. She was well-known for her commitment to community service.
