Good afternoon, everyone. On behalf our whole staff and school community including Mrs. Jones’ first grade class and the Judge family, I want to welcome each of you to our dedication of our new memorial garden. As you know, today we are celebrating and recognizing Evie Judge, a first grade student in Mrs. Jones’ class who passed away this school year. At Evie’s funeral, it was evident that she touched many, many lives and you being here for this dedication certainly again demonstrates our fond memories of Evie and the impact of her life on each of us. We are proud to dedicate this memorial garden in her name that will be a positive reminder of her now and in the future.
I am also proud and thankful to our community who had a part in creating this garden.
