I am Emily Brooks, a freshman at East Carolina University. I graduated from Northwood High School in 2010, and entered East Carolina University in the Honors College to begin pre-med, studying Biology and Hispanic Studies. Through a series of extensive interviews, I was selected as an Ambassador for ECU, and I am honored to represent the university in many events at school and within the Greenville community. Though I have to complete over 50 hours of volunteer services per semester, I feel blessed to serve in this capacity. I thank all of my previous teachers, principals and school employees who helped me along the way during my days as a student with Chatham County Schools.
