Chatham County Schools - Evening Activities Curtailed as a Precaution on Tuesday evening, March 2

Officials in Chatham County Schools are closely watching the local weather forecast as precipitation enters the area.  As a precaution all evening activities should end in time for students to be home by 8 p.m.  Individuals should keep in touch with their school(s) related to any dates of events that may need to be rescheduled.

The school district is currently operating on its normal schedule.  In the event the weather system necessitates a change to the district status between tonight and the opening of school on Wednesday morning, officials will use the AlertNow system and its other usual methods (website, phone weather line, and news media outlets) to notify families and employees.
